Billy Graham's advance team establishes relationships with many local churches before his crusades. I suggest something better - establish a relationship with the true church. There are many ways to introduce you to the true church. First, do you recognize the difference between J-type Christians and P-type Christians? The J-type follow Jesus in Spirit as their leader and boss, desiring to do all miracles He did and the greater things He promised. The P-type love hierarchy and money like Paul, fighting for it to exist even when they won't benefit themselves. Which type is in charge of most churches?
If you look at Rev. 17:5, 18:4 you'll see all traditional churches, Catholic and daughters, are prostitutes not church but frauds claiming to be churches when they are not - for if they were, God would tell them to return to their first love like the church in Ephesus, but God finds nothing in the frauds worthy of redeeming so he tells the redeemed to come out of them. So where should you direct the people saved at your crusades to go?
You should help them to learn, even memorize, a Gospel so they can pray about every part and do whatever God leads them to. This is needed because all gospel preachers leave out parts of the Gospel for it could take several hours to recite completely - yet people need to not miss any detail or they might degenerate from initial J-type belief of wise virgins in Mat. 25 who want to follow Jesus into P-type.belief of foolish virgins who want to be left behind.
So as you see your hooking up new believers to elders can backfire if the elders are P-type believers. Thus I strongly suggest you pursue J-type belief and preach the true Gospel, the New Pentateuch (Mt Mk Lk Jn Rv) the five books with most of Jesus' absolutely perfect words which were recorded, without the errors introduced in the Epistles.
