The make up of the 111th Congress is: 241 Republicans and 193 Democrats in the House of Representatives. In the Senate are 51 Democrats, 47 Republicans and 2 Independents - Lieberman and Sanders, a former Democrat and a Socialist, respectively. There are no, none, nada, zilch, zero 3rd party politicians identified as such. How come? Are they there, but have simply sold out their principles to obtain committee assignments? Or has the 3rd party movement been a failure? The Communist Party, USA has failed. The U.S. Labor Party activists are still hanging around Post Offices after more than twenty years peddling Lyndon LaRouch's books. A serious question: What is the state of the third party movement in the U.S.? None of the candidates even show up in the polls, much less qualify for seats at the debate table. It seems to me that the third-party movement is a feel-good political movement that is divorced from reality. Vote Republican on Nov 6th. If the candidate has an R next to their name, vote 'em in!
